I have relocated to Washington, DC from Hawai'i and am reworking this web site.
I am registered in the District of Columbia as an N.D., and am a Certified Medical Assistant-Clinical Specialty, and practice in accordance with the regulations here. This web site reflects my training and experience as a primary care provider and counselor in Washington state, and Hawai'i. My practice in DC is a naturopathic entry path to integrated medicine services.

I am pleased to be associated with National Integrated Health Associates and Capital University of Integrative Medicine. Their approach to joining a variety of therapies in individualized programs for patients is exactly the way I believe health care should be practiced. Practitioners of different healing techniques increase your resources for healing. I offer you several therapies from my own repertoir of techniques, and my broad awareness of different ways of healing also helps me make referrals to other practitioners who can deliver effective therapies. I am fortunate to be at NIHA teaming with Mark Garzon, M.D.---working with a medical doctor expands the options available to patients. I also refer patients to Bruce Rind, M.D., Barbara Solomon, M.D., Mark McClure, D.D.S., Arman Davoudian, D.D.S. and Lowell Weiner, D.D.S. who are also members of the NIHA team.

My participation at NIHA gives me a chance to emphasize my broad approach to helping people improve their lives on all levels. In the District of Columbia, Naturopathic Physicians do not treat named diseases. This is perfectly aligned with natural medicine, because we trust the innate self-healing ability of the individual to do their own healing. My techniques and the teaching I offer give the person more control of their life and help make it more fulfilling.

Mission Statement as Naturopathic Physician

I will conduct my practice as a naturopathic physician so as to:

TEACH People about the natural laws of life and healing that control this precious gift of life.
PROVIDE People with assessments and therapies that enhance an individual's life journey--on all levels
GUIDE People to expanded insights into their strengths, areas needing support, and obstacles to healing; then to suggest appropriate next steps on their journey.

Note:
This site gives some of the basics about my practice as a naturopathic physician. It is not intended to give specific health advice. Health-changing guidance and therapies must come directly from individual appointments with me. This site is limited in what I can include about my extensive background in the healing arts and approaches I use to help people improve their lives.

Contact me and we will talk about how to meet your health care needs.

Any links to other internet web sites which I may include on this site are for your interest only. I am unable to check all sites for updates and content. Use information from this web site at your own discretion.

Please note this is not a Crisis Care practice.
