Principles of My Naturopathic Practice

I provide general practice naturopathic health care using techniques available at National Integrated Health Associates, in a team approach to healing. I help you find your own inner balance, physical-chemical-mental so your body can heal itself. I help to remove what are called "Obstacles to Cure" and inform you of Risks to Health and resources for health support. [See Links page for some.] I enjoy seeing people learn to reclaim their health.
The main theme of my practice has been the support of Biological Dentistry. My training with Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D., Ph.D. through the American Academy of Neural Therapy has deepened my commmitment to these areas: Cleansing the body of toxins, supporting the Autonomic Nervous System, and helping people strengthen the mind-body-spirit connections that make us human.

I support your freedom of choice among health care options. I value science and
Laboratory Tests
in guiding us and I also honor the wisdom of using approaches that work
but are not yet fully understood. I can help you discover new ways of managing your life.

The tools we use may include: Nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, acupoint stimulation, hands-on therapies, counseling, methods from healers of other cultures, and—in light of new mind-body research—I may even recommend contemplation or prayer as part of your individualized plan. I respect your choice of religion, spirituality or individual path of understanding Life. [See the section on Models and Theories for more information.] The special offerings at NIHA (ART, APN, PK, functional microscopy, heart rate variability testing and more) expand the therapies to which you have access through visits with me as a naturopathic entry point to NIHA services.
